Description

The Bane is a BattleMech that is based upon a Star League prototype that was never put into production, first built by the Clans in 2827 and relegated over time to second-line status after the introduction of the Omnimech. It is built around a lightweight XL 300 rated engine. The stock Bane loadout is configured for long-range direct-fire support, armed with a whopping 10 Ultra Autocannon/2s, though four tons of ammunition are burned through surprisingly quickly. 4 Machine Guns with half a ton of ammo are the only close-range defense weapons the Bane mounts.

    Description

    The Bane is a BattleMech that is based upon a Star League prototype that was never put into production, first built by the Clans in 2827 and relegated over time to second-line status after the introduction of the Omnimech. It is built around a lightweight XL 300 rated engine. This variant is effective at both medium and short range. It trades out the autocannon for four Ultra Autocannon/10s. In addition, it is capable of spitting out almost twice the damage of the original. Fourteen tons of ammunition allow the Bane 2 to stay in the fight for a long time.

      Description

      The Bane is a BattleMech that is based upon a Star League prototype that was never put into production, first built by the Clans in 2827 and relegated over time to second-line status after the introduction of the Omnimech. It is built around a lightweight XL 300 rated engine. This design changes the weapons configuration totally. Eight LRM-15 provide fire support, while fifteen tons of ammunition proves sufficient for the design. A Streak SRM-4 provides close support. Nineteen double heat sinks are up to the task of keeping the design cool.

        Description

        Named after the thing that tournament organizers do to bank accounts in this mech's wake, the Direct Deposit is a death-dealing monster in the arenas of Solaris VII. Armed with a battery of 42 Advanced Tactical Missile tubes, the Double D, as its fans call it, is fully capable of deleting anything it can catch and thanks to its oversized 400-rated fusion engine, that's just about everything in the arenas.
