C3 Slave

The C3 Slave Unit is the second part of a C3 Network. Weighing a single ton and carried by a member of a lance or company, the C3 Slave provides a minor sensor and sight increase for the carrying unit. Equipped Effects:

  • +3% increased sensor range for the lance.
  • +3% increased sight range for the lance.
  • +1 accuracy bonus to hit enemies within the C3 radius.
  • 90m radius aura for C3 and ECM effects.

Critical Effects:

  • DESTROYED: Equipped effects disabled.

Notes:

  • C3 slaves have a 90m radius aura which is shown by a green segmented ring around the equipped 'mech. Enemies must be within that ring in order for the accuracy bonus to work.
  • While the effects may say they work on "lance members" the buffs affect every 'mech you drop, not just the first four.


C3i

The Improved C3 Computer is a broad-spectrum upgrade of the standard C3 network units. Acting much like a combination of a C3 slave unit and a Guardian ECM unit, the C3i is capable of a wide variety of lance benefits. However, the unit is fairly expensive and rare due to its fragility and complexity of construction. Still, the unit is regularly used by elite ComStar forces for unit cohesion.

Notes:

  • C3i's ECM effect (+1 defense against being hit) does not stack with other ECM equipment that provide the same effect such as Guardian or Angel ECM.
  • Does not count as ECM for the purposes of equipping Stealth armor.
  • 120m radius aura for C3 and ECM effects. Enemies must be within that radius for the accuracy bonus to work and allies must be within that radius in order to get the ECM protection.

C3 Master

Acting as the core of a traditional C3 Network, C3 Master units provide a universal Resolve bonus, grant increased accuracy to an entire combat force, improve sensors and sight range by 20%, and even act as a super powerful TAG unit, giving incredible bonuses to hit the painted target.
