Description

Designed not for military work but for simple excavation and mining work, the Dig King MiningMech is the Inner Sphere's premier IndustrialMech for mining and digging. Armed with a large Rock Cutter and Mining Drill for even the most stubborn of rocks, the Dig King earned a good reputation in the industrial mining sector. Unfortunately, mercenary commanders get somewhat less use out of the design, not often needing to excavate a salt mine. Still, if pushed into combat, the Rock Cutter and Mining Drill make a formidable enough weapon combination, though the speed and armor leave much to be desired.

Designed not for military work but for simple excavation and mining work, the Dig King MiningMech is the Inner Sphere's premier IndustrialMech for mining and digging. The RCL-1B is an unusual weaponized variant that exchanges the Rock Cutter of the base model for a mech-scale Buzzsaw. The mech remains an industrial however, with a poor engine, bad armor, and slow speed. The slightly lighter Buzzsaw means that slightly more firepower could be mounted. Those weapons are a pair each of Machine Guns and Medium Lasers, for simple industrial firepower.
