A Dish Served Cold - Rescue Aftermath

Darius is waiting to further debrief you after the op, although you already have a pretty good idea what he's going to say.

"XO. Give me a status update. Anything I missed in the post-mission report?"

Option A - (Requirement: A Dish Served Cold - Rescue mission failed) "Continue debrief.":

"Not much, Commander. We failed...it's as simple as that. We couldn't get Max out of there, and the bit of salvage we might have scrounged is small consolation. Now that the Wolves are aware we're in the AO, we're not going to be able to get anywhere near Max again. He's as good as dead, if he hasn't been executed already."

Result:

  • Morale decreased by 4
  • Max dies (listed cause of death: "The price of vengeance.")


Option B - (Requirement: A Dish Served Cold - Rescue mission succeeded) "Continue debrief.":

"We got Max out of there, although he's definitely a bit worse for the wear. I guess the Wolves don't treat their prisoners slated for execution too well."

Result:

  • Morale increased by 2
  • Max gains pilot tag: Unstable
  • Max's Guts and Tactics skills decreased by 1
  • Max gains 2 injuries


Option C - (Requirement: A Dish Served Cold - Rescue mission succeeded, 2nd objective secured) "Continue debrief.":

"We got Max out of there, although he's definitely a bit worse for the wear. I guess the Wolves don't treat their prisoners slated for execution too well.

Seems we picked up a fair bit of salvage too, so that should keep Sumire from griping too badly."

Result:

  • Morale increased by 2
  • Jenner JR7-IIC-1 added to mech bay
  • Max gains pilot tag: Unstable
  • Max's Guts and Tactics skills decreased by 1
  • Max gains 2 injuries
