Description

The Dragon 1N is a beefy machine that can take a serious beating but tends to be a bit light on weaponry. It moves fast for a heavy 'Mech, though, which makes it well suited to closing for Melee attacks against slower targets.

Description

The Dragon has a reputation for prowess and here at Periphery Armory, Inc, we continued that fine tradition. Our DRG-1PA takes it to the next level as only our patented weapons and armor can do. A Heavy Rifle provides some grit while a total of 30 Reloading Rocket Launcher tubes gives powerful burst potential. A pair of Medium Lasers cover short ranges and a Mech Grenade Launcher with two tons of ammo gives some flexibility. Armored in PAI's trademark Retro-Style Light Plating for reduced weight, this Dragon really does breathe fire!

Description

The Dragon is a mech with a tarnished reputation and for good reason, many of the variants struggle to find their footing on the modern battlefield. This variant, the DRG-2PA, is one such. Armed with twin Light Rifles, twin Small Binary Lasers, a Gyrojet-15, and a Reloading Rocket Launcher-15, the -2PA has a weapon for all occasions, though none of them are particularly hard hitting. An inexplicable four jump jets rounds out the design. This Dragon is purely for those militaries on an extreme budget as anyone who can afford anything better probably bought something better already.

Description

The 5N variant of the Dragon was used as a bridge between it and the Grand Dragon. This field upgrade, which utilizes formerly lost technology, upgrades its normal autocannon to an Ultra Autocannon/5, which is capable of firing at twice the rate of a standard model.

Description

The Dragon 5PA is a a Periphery take on the Grand Dragon. By keeping the original speed of the Dragon, together with periphery level XLs, Endo, and Light Plating, the designers were able to cram two revolver style rifles into it's right arm, giving it a heck of a punch. It's center torso rocket launchers exploit holes made by the rifles, and 3 medium lasers round out it's firepower.

Description

The Dragon is commonly used as a heavy, mobile trooper and skirmisher, but in this incarnation, it excels at disabling enemy Battlemechs, exterminating vehicles, and obliterating infantry. It accomplishes this with twin Plasma Rifles, in a double-barreled configuration on the right arm, backed up by four extended-range Flamers for close work, and an SRM6 with Inferno ammunition because if a Dragon is going to breathe fire, it might as well go whole-hog. Woe be to any knights that cross this Dragon's path.

Description

Constructed by the Davions to deploy support munitions on an increasingly chaotic battlefield, the Dragon-8D proved capable if unexciting and was generally scorned in the AFFS due to Kuritan overtones. As befits its intended role, the mech uses a LRM-10 and a Mech Mortar/8 to deploy support munitions across any battlefield including smoke, thunder, and swarm rounds. For direct fire, the -8D only has a trio of Medium Pulse Lasers to fall back on which leaves it woefully un-prepared for close quarters combat.

Description

Built by a Solaris VII gladiator with Lyran connections and a salvaged Kuritan Dragon, the Flame has a fire belch worthy of the name. Armed with a Lyran Heavy Gauss Rifle, the Flame needs no other backup weapons (though it has some ER Medium Lasers and a MRM-10 anyway) to devastate its opponents. It does give up speed for the firepower though, going a little slower than most Dragons.

Description

Debuting during the civil war era, the 7N boasts superior firepower in the form of a Gauss rifle in the right arm and an AC/5 in the left arm, with a traditional medium laser in the left torso and an MRM-10 launcher in place of the LRM launcher in the center torso. The 'Mech is powered by a 300-rated XL engine while its ammunition stores of sixteen Gauss slugs, fifteen rounds of autocannon fire and twenty missile salvos, all stored in the right torso, are protected by CASE.
