Mackie II
Description
The Mackie was the first true BattleMech and was the pride of the Terran Hegemony. Thus, when the Hegemony returned in the 3030s so too did the Mackie with this, the Mackie II. Built on the same basic bones as the standard Mackie (though modernized with current technology), the Mackie II upgrades the frame to 105 total tons, making it officially a SuperHeavy BattleMech. Built on a 315-rated Light Fusion Engine, the Mackie II can keep up with other assault mechs. For firepower it carries a Silver Bullet Gauss Rifle and twin ER Large Lasers for long range while two Large X-Pulse Lasers protect it from anything foolish enough to approach. The Mackie II was quickly put into production and became the flagbearer for Hegemony forces everywhere.

This variant, the MSK-II-10HISC, is a unique variant used by the Hegemony Institute of Strategic Combat and is designed to instantly destroy anything it faces in battle. Armed exclusively with four HISC Hyper Lasers, the -10HISC is more than capable of destroying anything it can see. Of course, the waste heat is tremendous but for an experimental design it was considered acceptable.

The Mackie II was quickly put into production and became the flagbearer for Hegemony forces everywhere.
