Description

The Mongoose was designed as a deep recon 'Mech and a competitor to the Locust. Armed with one Small and three Medium Lasers, it packs more of a punch while keeping up with the Locust's speed. The MON-66 is the original Star League design, constructed with weight-saving technologies that allow it to carry an advanced Beagle Active Probe.

Description

The Mongoose was designed as a deep recon 'Mech and a competitor to the Locust. The MON-66b is the variant used by the Star League's Royal regiments. Constructed around a powerful XL engine and using weight saving technologies, the Royal Mongoose is extremely fast while also carrying a heavy armament of an ER Large Laser, a pair of Medium Lasers, and a Small Laser for good measure.

Description

The Mongoose-77 is a new variant of a classic design developed by ComStar in the wake of the Battle of Tukayyid to help shore up their losses in that titanic struggle. Given the Com Guard's new public role as defenders of the peace and watchdogs against the Clans, ComStar decided they needed a fast response mech to hunt down and destroy Elementals. The MON-77 was made to fill that need. Armed with 6 Machine Guns and a pair of Small X-Pulse Lasers it is more than capable of shredding Elementals where they stand and its high speed lets it reposition as needed. A XL engine and Endo-Steel allow for the payload without sacrificing armor.
