Northwind is the homeworld of the famed mercenary unit the Northwind Highlanders and Northwind Military Academy. Cosara Weaponries and Bulldog Enterprises also have large manufacturing facilities on the surface. Northwind joined the so-called Chaos March in the 3060s, sparking off a race to conquer the wayward independent worlds.
