Description
Clan Ghost Bear has long been the pragmatic Clan, loathe to ignore assets in their possession, no matter how unusual. After their Osteon Prototype was shelved, a handful of Clan scientists kept tinkering with the design and eventually came up with something more suitable to the practical-minded Ghost Bear leadership. Though the EON-1 keeps the CASE II and the torso-mounted cockpit, the weapons loadout is simple and effective: two each LB-5X and LB-10X Autocannons with 6 total tons of ammunition for any situation and a pair of head-mounted ER Medium Lasers for no-frills firepower. The EON-1 found acceptance as a garrison machine for the scientists to constantly tinker with.

Description
Prototyped, fielded, and shelved by Clan Ghost Bear, the Osteon Prototype takes mech and MechWarrior survivability to the next level for the Clans. Built around a Torso-Mounted Cockpit and protected by heavy armor and CASE II on every ammunition bin the mech has, the Osteon is extremely durable. Armed with purely ATMs, 51 tubes worth in fact, and fed by a massive 12 tons of ammunition, the Osteon can decimate most opponents with ease. However, the extreme expense of the mech led to Ghost Bear leadership archiving the prototype in their garrision forces.
