Latest Patch Notes

v10.3 (aka the "Behold: The Toaster-Fuckers!" release) has been released to the installer. This patch is mostly a content release.

NEW FACTION: The Word of Blake has awoken and claimed their rightful clay in the heart of the Inner Sphere. Look for their Protectorate around Terra. You can face the Word of Blake in four of the Great Houses (Davion, Steiner, Liao, Kurita) as well as Nova Cat space. You can work for the Word both in their own space as well as Marik space and Clan Wolf/Ghost Bear/Jade Falcon space. And yes, you CAN ally with the Word of Blake if you're inclined. They do have a fully-operational faction store with many toys in it.

NEW MECHS: The Word of Blake has arrived and brought their mechs with them, including the Archangel and Preta prototype OmniMechs, the incredible Omega Superheavy BattleMech, and the unique Nagual LAM. They also will sell you some tanks, the Royal Burke, the Royal Demon, and the Puma 005.

NEW TANK: The Word of Blake also is bringing a stolen tank to the party. The New Avalon Institute of Science in the Federated Suns recently developed a new artillery system, the Cruise Missile/50, and deployed it on a vehicle, the Kalki Cruise Missile tank. The Word of Blake stole the plans and is producing the tank, even offering it to honored allies. Keep an eye out for it.

NEW VOICEPACK: The streamer, HBFT_Gaming has given his voice to BTA for his pilot, HBFT. Check it out!

The Clans now field an extra tank against you, the Morrigu.
The Steiners will now field the Sturmfeur tank against you in combat.
There is now a St. Ives starting option.
Abandoned worlds now can't generate travel contracts (that was a bug) and properly have no contracts, don't go to abandoned worlds.
We should have a proper-ish fix for travel freezes. No guarantees but I think it'll work.
There is now a Tank Crew background option for those who want to tank it up.
LAMs now take 15% more damage in AirMech mode instead of 10%.
The Rotor component on the zeppelins no longer provides a massive initiative boost.

IMPORTANT: v10.3 is an "update" update. Run the installer again to let it just update your files and you're set to go. The installer auto-updates the CAB and injects Modtek for you.

IMPORTANT: v10.3 is not a save breaking update, your saves are compatible and will work fine.
