Description
While an exceptionally early design, the Talos by Vandenberg MilTech was a financial success and a long-standing general mech for the Taurian Defense Forces from its production in the 2530's well into the Succession Wars. An Autocannon/10, two LRM-5s, and an SRM-6 give the Talos weapons effective at multiple range bands while its 8.5 tons of armor give it some longevity on the battlefield.

Description
An experiment by Vandenberg Miltech, the TLS-1T is designed to bring mobile artillery support to the TDF's arsenal. Primarily armed with a Thumper Artillery Piece, the TLS-1T also carries a PPC and a pair of ER Medium Lasers for some direct fire support. A light fusion engine keeps the mech running smoothly while 10 tons of armor keep the -1T well armored against any incoming fire.

Description
During the 3040s, when the Helm Memory Core was starting to revitalize the technology of the Inner Sphere, the Taurian Concordat felt like it was being left behind technologically. To challenge this, Protector Calderon ordered the ancient Talos mech put back into production with modern technology sourced from Inner Sphere manufacturers. The TLS-2B very much resembles its progenitor with the SRM-6 and LRM-5s, but upgrades the autocannon to a LB-10X model. A Medium Laser, double heat sinks, and jump jets round out the improvements.

Description
As time wore on, the shortcomings of the Talos became more pronounced. On a modern battlefield, the mech neither had the range nor speed to keep up with newer designs. Vandenberg Miltech came back at their classic design and revealed this, the TLS-3G. Armed with a Gauss Rifle and a battery of Medium Lasers, it has the range to threaten anything and with its increased speed from a 250-rated Light Fusion Engine and its five jump jets it can bring the laser battery to bear easily.

Description
Armed for the changing battlefield, the Talos-3M is an attempt by the Concordat to bring modern weapons to an ever-shifting field of battle. Equipped for all ranges, the Talos-3M uses Multi-Missile Launchers as its primary armament, with a MML-9 and two MML-5s with plentiful ammo for firepower. An XL 250-rated engine propels the TLS-3M at reasonable speed to bring the MMLs to bear. The most unconventional aspect of the design is the left arm mounted Mace, which can deal heavy damage to opponents very quickly if left unchecked.
