| Details | Conceived due to equipment shortages, the LNC25-03 is a simple swap. Removing the Large Lasers and replacing them with a pair of AC/5s and a ton of ammo as well as slowing the mech to 84 kph allowed for much better heat control and for more tonnage to be devoted to armor, making the -03 an excellently armored design. However, the loss of firepower was noted and led to the design being largely abandoned outside of the Draconis Combine, where it remained in service, for better or worse. |
