The Stormcrow is protected by nine and a half tons of Ferro-Fibrous armor. This particular variant was seemingly designed by some sort of mad engineer, who managed to jury-rig a mixture of advanced IS and Clan technologies into the already cramped confines of the Stormcrow's frame. As a side-effect, the mech is susceptible to catastrophic engine and gyro destruction, and no longer has any omni hardpoints.
