Description

This is a kludged together medium-class pirate scrap-pile that carries the Corsair designation, even though it shares very little with the usual assault-weight mechs that typically carry that name. Scrapped together by the pirates of Axylus, the COR-3X carries a mixed loadout that's very pirate-friendly. A pair of Light Autocannon/5s and Medium Lasers provide no-frills firepower. A Kuritan-sourced (read: stolen) MRM-20 backs them up at middle ranges. A Light Fusion Engine and Composite Structure give weight for it all while 14 standard heat sinks do a good job of heat dissipation.

Bonuses

Mech Quirk: Rugged

Factions

The COR-3X is not found with any factions. It is available as a reward for completing the third campaign flashpoint mission: Capture the Scheria.
