Description

Developed by the Terran Hegemony in the 25th century, the Mackie was the first true BattleMech. The Mackie was the pinnacle of the Hegemony's military might, the representation of their power and the hand of the Cameron's on the battlefield. The -7A is a predecessor to the Hegemony's pride, the -9H. It carries a similar weapon load out, the main difference being that it drops 1 PPC, the Medium Lasers, and the Active Probe for a pair of side torso mounted Large Lasers. Otherwise, it carries the AC/20 and PPC of the later -9H as well as that mech's prodigious armor.

Description

Developed by the Terran Hegemony in the 25th century, the Mackie was the first true BattleMech. The Mackie was the pinnacle of the Hegemony's military might, the representation of their power and the hand of the Cameron's on the battlefield. The -8B is a predecessor to the Hegemony's pride, the -9H, but remains a potent war machine. Carrying the maximum armor possible and carrying the same weapon load as the -9H, the -8B differs only in the lack of the advanced Beagle Active Probe that the -9H carries.
