Description

A Solaris VII turned mercenary BattleMech, the Mantis uses high speed (boosted by MASC) and powerful extended range lasers to slice off enemy armor. Once the Mantis is in grappling range, it can use the experimental Claw systems to literally tear an enemy apart. The Mantis's main weapon are its two tungsten-reinforced composite Claws. These are backed up by three ER Medium Lasers and two ER Small Lasers. As the lasers are mounted in the torso, the Mantis can always use the Claws.
