| Details | Irian Technologies, never happy with their prior Stalker designs, created this, the Stalker-8X, to try and make the old chassis more relevant on the modern battlefield. Carrying the quad Mediums and dual LRM-10s of the traditional Stalker, the -8X takes a twist on the mech by carrying an Ultra Autocannon/10 for close range brawling after the enemy closes. For defense, 15.5 tons of armor and an Angel ECM Suite protect the mech. A Bloodhound Active Probe gives it some sensor utilty while 14 double heat sinks and a Coolant Pod keep the mech cold in all but the most taxing of battles. |
