Description

The progenitor of the Executioner (Gladiator) first seen on the Rasalhague front of the clan invasion, the Executioner-B is slower and more heavily equipped. When introduced late in the golden century, the Executioner-B looked amazing when viewed from design documents. However, when on the field, the fixed jump jets, high heat load, and the lack of speed meant the mech was not usable in most situations that an assault mech was called for. The Prime configuration is equiuped with two Large Pulse Lasers and Ultra AC/2s for range, with an ER PPC backing them up. At point blank the Executioner-B can call upon a mammoth Ultra AC/20.

Bonuses

Mech Quirk: Clan Mech

+10% walking distance, +10% sprinting distance, +10% jump distance, +1 accuracy with ranged weapons, -6 heat at the end of the turn, -30 melee accuracy

Pilot Affinity: Nimble

15% more jumping distance

However, when on the field, the fixed jump jets, high heat load, and the lack of speed meant the mech was not usable in most situations that an assault mech was called for. The alternate configuration 'Alpha' is equiuped with twin Ultra AC/10s, Twin Lubin LB 10-X Autocannons. 4 tons of UAC/10 and 2 tons of LB 10-X ammunition provide a limited rate of fire. Two ER Small lasers complete the loadout and provide anti-infantry capabilities.

However, when on the field, the fixed jump jets, high heat load, and the lack of speed meant the mech was not usable in most situations that an assault mech was called for. Armed with two Gauss Rifles, the 'Bravo' alternate configuration is a stand off shooter. 4x Medium Pulse lasers provide close in backup. The Gauss are fed by a total of 40 rounds of ammunition giving Alt Config B some staying power.

When introduced late in the golden century, the Executioner-B looked amazing when viewed from design documents. However, when on the field, the fixed jump jets, high heat load, and the lack of speed meant the mech was not usable in most situations that an assault mech was called for. Like the 'Bravo' configuration, the 'Charlie' configuration is a long range combatant. However to reduce the burdon on amunition supply for long range engagements, the 'Charlie' has two twin ER-PPC arrays. The prodigious heat load is not at all offset by two additional double heatsinks. In addition to the ER-PPCs, two Ultra AC/5s and 2 SRM2 launchers are equipped.

When introduced late in the golden century, the Executioner-B looked amazing when viewed from design documents. However, when on the field, the fixed jump jets, high heat load, and the lack of speed meant the mech was not usable in most situations that an assault mech was called for. The 'Juliette' configuration of the Executioner-B is a more modern loadout than most of the EXEC-B's configurations. Armed with 6 of the new PAC/4 Long Range Autocannons as well as two Large Pulse Lasers for close in work, the J configuration is ready to rumble at long range. Just keep an ammo supply truck nearby under cover for maximum effectiveness.
