| Details | Developed in the mid-2400s by the Terran Hegemony, industrial armor closely resembles the primitive armors that predated it. However, industrial armor is not intended for military applications, instead it is meant for nominal protection of IndustrialMechs as they go about their standard duties. There is one upside to industrial armor however: because it is intended for rough-and-tumble situations it offers a slight amount of increased protection against heavy blows, such as those generated by ballistic weaponry. The benefit is small, but when pressed into combat, every advantage is worth taking. |
