DetailsAfter his mysterious return to the Inner Sphere, Stefan Amaris the Usurper set out to learn how military technology had advanced in the intervening centuries. When he was shown the Rotary Autocannons, developed by House Davion, he immediately ordered his best scientists to develop a bigger and better one. To that end, they created the ironically-named Mercy, a tremendously powerful and devastating weapon that is equally dangerous to the user thanks to its bulk, weight, heat generation, and ammo consumption. Effectively, the Mercy fires rocket-propelled grenade rounds that deal extreme damage to the target and include a small area of effect. Additionally, the Mercy is a rapid-fire weapon and can absolutely spray shots across its targets, dealing tremendous damage.
