Description
The original prototype was closer to a variant of the primitive Firebee, developed in 2481. It had two SRM-2s which shared a ton of ammunition and a Large Laser. Though it could only manage 64 km/h, the A-1 had more armor protection than the Firebee, ten and a half tons of Primitive Armor.

Description
The Toro is the Taurian Concordat's first indigenous BattleMech. The design tops out at 86 km/h. It is protected by a respectable six and a half tons of armor. The Toro is a long-range fighter. It is armed with a PPC and two LRM-5 launchers. The standard allotment of heat sinks is sufficient as long as the MechWarrior manages his or her heat wisely.

Description
In the aftermath of the Sanctuary Alliance invasion of the Taurian Concordat, the Treaty of Micros stipulated that the Sanctuary Alliance would assist in replenishing the depleted Taurian Defense Force. To that end, the Alliance produced a number of field refits of existing TDF designs, such as the Toro. Armed with a Sanctuary-spec NPC and twin VRM-6s, the Toro TR-S-6 is a powerful scouting mech for the TDF.

Description
In the 3060s, as technology proliferated throughout the Inner Sphere once again, the Taurian Concordat went back to its first battlemech, the Toro, and decided to upgrade it for the times. Using the best tech available to the Concordat the Toro was brought up to modern spec. Armed with a more focused direct-fire loadout, the Toro TR-A-8 carries an ER PPC and twin MRM-10s. An XL Engine provides the free tonnage for the heavier MRMs while 11 double heat sinks keep it all frosty. Two tons of CASE protected ammo fuels the guns.

Description
This Toro has been modified and updated throughout the decades as the ancestral mech of your family in the Taurian Concordat. As the pride and joy of the Concordat, the Toro has always held a special place of reverence in the Concordat's heart. Accordingly, as soon as it was possible, your family upgraded the family Toro with modern tech. Carrying the traditional PPC, the LRM racks were replaced with Streak SRM-2s, a quartet of them to be precise. An XL engine pays for the necessary tonnage while one ton of ammo is more than enough for the weapons.

The Toro is the Taurian Concordat's first indigenous BattleMech and remains a well-loved one to this very day. Still, it has plenty of room for improvement and so has seen several updates over the years. The TR-PA-7 is one such update.
